Gas Station
A study in minimalist service station design, focusing on thin steel canopies, clean geometrical volumes, and atmospheric lighting.
The Structural Approach
Service stations are historically cluttered, sensory-heavy environments. This concept explores how a petrol station can feel silent, light, and integrated with the night landscape.
We used thin, cantilevered steel slabs and hidden lighting channels to create a floating canopy aesthetic that minimizes visual weight and frames the sky.
Atmospheric Rendering
The visualizations focus on high-contrast evening settings. By casting warm light beneath the dark steel structure and letting it reflect off wet concrete surfaces, we create a calm, welcoming landmark for travelers.
Below are two rendering studies exploring different angles and composition settings.
